Louise, Larisa with the music, our mothers Lulama and Zanele, the Dutch volunteers, Patricia, Janske and Joost were all part of the opening of the playgroup at Zanele and Simphiwe's house. I am so glad that Awonke, the girl on our pamphlet and the first child on our OVC register is part of the playgroup. Awonke's mother died of an Aids-related decease. She was very ill when we got involved with her and now she can walk and talk and receives her medicine regularly. Isnt it wonderful that we can now educat and stimulate her too. Little Apele did not come, his grandfather is not sure whether he wants to send him to us or to another creche. I am very disappointed because he stayed home last year and received no stimulation. I will be happy if he goes to a creche and get stimulated.

The people you see here (the grownups) all 5 raised funds to enable us to complete the 4th house. They are Be More volunteers from Holland and raised funds to enable us to do the extentions and renovations to the fourth house where Simphiwe and Zanele are now living with their own children and the foster children. Anneke also took the lead in raising funds for Peter, Daphne and myself to go to Holland last year in August. The fifth house is so beautiful.

Cupboards by Toon
And this handsome man is her husband, that is now of Jeanne who was on the previous photo. Toon is the one who built a lot of cupboards in our houses last year and and this year again he went straight to the houses to see what the needs are and bought the wood already and is busy putting more cupboards and shelves in. Toon, thank you very much.
Preach - preek
This lovely woman, Jeanne, visiting South Africa at the moment is staying with Peter and Daphne

Boeresport day. The last day of the school holidays in January. Janske, Renee and Robin organised a boeresport day for the Thamsanqa children together with young men from the youth of Frontline Ministries. Here you see SDimphiwe and Phumlani with the children. Phumlani is one of our Asibavilele volunteers. He also is a general assistant at Frontline Ministries

Wonders never cease
Jeanne and Toon are back in South Africa! They stay with Peter And Daphne as always. And Toon's first words to me were I want to build more cupboards in the houses. He went to all four the houses and asked the mothers what they need in the houses and Toon is going to do so much for the houses. He ordered the wood already and is going to be busy for all 5 weeks that they are here. I cant believe it. What a wonderful couple!!! Last year he put cupboards in Simphiwe's house. The house had no cupboards. This time he is working at the other houses - upgrading!!!

Many people will be giving a sigh of relief. After many difficult months because of my illness and other matters the work on Caleb's House, the smallest of our four Cluster foster homes, has finally started and some progress is visible. Josina and Marian who visited Thamsanqa as Be More volunteers raised the funds for us. They volunteered in July and August and did many other wonderful things for us. But here now they can see the progress. Masixole one of our boys is standing next to the place where the building is taking place.
