Children in Simphiwe's house
I have to put this photo on the blog. Somekazi, Nolvuyo and Vuyokazi admiring the musical and earclapping doggie that Anneke brought with
. Our children are so beautiful and the house of Simphiwe and Zanele is a wonderful safe place for these three children.
New Shoes!
Nandipha was very thrilled that she could get a beautiful pair of high heels as she said for church. A beautiful end of a lovely day. The shoes were brand new and many of them had the Ecco brand on them. Anneke collected thm for us. The shoes were sent to South Africa by the late Tiny's daughter. The family also donated a lovely amount to us. At Tiny's funeral the people were asked to make a donation to Thamsanqa in stead of sending flowers. We are very thankful to her children. In a book of photos given to me on our arrival in Holland Tiny wrote: Ons is almal strijkinstrumente in die simfonie van God se vreugde. Sy gees raak aan die snare van ons hart en dit begin sing tot sy eer. Sy het dit weke voor haar dood geskryf en ek sal altyd onthou dat sy die mooiste strykinstrument was en dit seer sekerlik nou daar in die hemel is.

Shoes at Simphiwes house
Anneke and myself went to Simphiwe and Sanele's house first on the fourth.
Here they sit with Vuyokazi who just selected two beautiful pairs of shoes.
Vuyokazi was the first one to choose shoes for herself and was particularly thrilled
and so were Simphiwe and Zanele who each got a pair too.
It was a special time for Anneke. She came to visit me but she had the
opportunity to see the 4th house
. Anneke, Sjaak, Thijmen Ria and Lisanne raised
the funds for the renovations that had to be made to the fourth house.
It was very heartwarming for Anneke to see the house completed and the children living there.
Anneke made a special trip to South Africa to see me and fortunately she could
be part of the shoe distribution, see the house, meet all the new housemothers.
She also took photos of our offices as they are now and we explained to her our new plans.

Shoes
On Tuesday morning 4 January Anneke, myself, Louise, Renee and Robin opened the boxes that arrived from Holland and Anneke and myself started to hand out the shoes. On this photo Bulelwa and Nandipha are fitting on shoes. Each child received 2 pairs of shoes. It was a day of fun. Two pairs of shoes for each child and so many to choose from.
